Day 15 of 57 · Week 3 · Move through China
Recognize entrance/exit, subway and restroom signs. Ask ___ 在哪里? with five destinations.
A road name can be unfamiliar and still be useful if you can match it exactly to your destination.
Separate the name from its type: 建国 is the name in 建国路; 路 tells you it is a road. You do not need to translate the name’s poetry to locate the road. Pinyin lets you say it; written matching lets you show it.
Read street signs and match an address — complete guided explanation
Completion records effort; quiz results measure recognition. Neither proves conversational fluency. Use the interactive trainer for review scheduling and saved progress.
Owner + 的 + thing. Close relationships can omit 的, but keeping it is a useful beginner pattern.
