Physics Research Program

An independent physics research program operated by Jacob D Young.

We investigate how projected fields and particle-like structures could emerge from pre-metric relational activity through DQEC. The larger target is the route to fields and an electron; our current studies investigate candidate admission and packet behavior as an early part of that route.

The program provides computational investigations, methods, findings, code, and datasets for others to examine, reproduce, and build on. TRQCTheory.org hosts the research record, interactive lab, and reproduction downloads.

A baseline and the first admission candidate

We compared an all-mode quantum baseline with C001, a rule that admits smoother relational patterns more strongly. On the original cycle network, a concentrated input expressed as an approximately Gaussian packet whose center stayed fixed at zero directional bias while its width grew.

The study records the supplied evolution and position map, the candidate rule, admitted and unexpressed weights, methods, numerical checks, and findings.

What changes when the connections change?

We tested C001 across 23 networks and 920 configurations. At the displayed preset, local connections retained a concentrated expression; strong rewiring produced an almost uniform expression across the fixed position map.

Smoothness alone did not preserve localization in this construction. The full tested range, network definitions, complex states, and every recorded configuration are retained.

Next question: Can a relation-defined expression map, or a different compatibility principle, retain useful localization when the network changes? This is planned work. The current research record contains baseline B000, candidate C001, and completed Studies 001–002.

Open invitation to participate

Independent reproduction, criticism, error reports, and clearly defined extensions are welcome. Start with the full code and datasets. Record the version used, exact commands, observed results, and any changed assumptions. Proposed candidates should identify their rule, parent, and comparison with the existing baseline.
