Day 26 of 57 · Week 4 · Actual conversation
Use a time word before the action. Contrast 没去, 去过 and 明天去. Verbs do not conjugate.
Move from a memorized introduction to recognizing the question that comes next.
A question word replaces the missing information. 你是美国人 is “you are American.” 你是哪里人 asks “you are a person from where?” Keep the word 哪里 in that slot.
Introduce yourself and catch a question — complete guided explanation
Completion records effort; quiz results measure recognition. Neither proves conversational fluency. Use the interactive trainer for review scheduling and saved progress.
在 before an action can mark an action in progress. Before a place it marks location. Context tells you its job.
